In this episode we have real talk with April Ray of Urban Fire Ministry. She shares her perspective as wife and mother. Her personal story of courage rising from not knowing God the Father, being sexually abused as a teen to meeting the love of her life to leading a life of mission with her husband and family. As April Ray says, their mission is not to be motivational but to be "formational." Forming young men and women, guiding them with real life experiences.
This podcast was recorded at the Wing-Stop on Greenspot Road in Highland California. Home of delicious wings, (my favorites Lemon Pepper and Mango Habanero with my sweet tea) and loaded fries. Nothing is better than having a conversation while breaking bread and in this case wings.
April and I have real talk about the journey to understanding how to "submit" to her husband and what that means to be "submissive" to your husband to the current crisis occuring in our society.
It was a thrill to just talk and listen. Follow her on facebook at Urban Fire Movement.
