Bonnie McCaffery, author of Portrait Quilts Painted Faces You Can Do, catches up with Karin Hellaby. I first met Karin on my very first teaching trip to the UK when I taught at her shop. We've have been friends ever since. She has a creative way of doing traditional blocks with a twist. While at the Birmingham Festival of Quilts Show I had a chance to see just what Karin was up to.
