Today's teaching consists of what we refer to as the Upper Room After Glow with Pastor Ben. With this week being the week of Jesus' crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection, our focus is to learn, understand, and feel what Jesus went through during this week, and what Jesus did for us on the Cross. One of the things that Jesus did to serve His disciples was washing their feet. As uncomfortable as this made them feel, Jesus helped them understand that this foot washing was a cleansing from the inside, more so than the outside. Jesus taught His disciples that He was to humble Himself and to serve them as well.
What about you? Have you had your feet washed? Have you been cleansed from the inside out? What are you waiting for? This is the time to call upon Jesus, and ask Him to wash your feet.
