Advent is the waiting. We do not like waiting. We do not like to walk past those gifts under the tree and wonder what treasures they contain.
Christmas is the revelation. It is the opening of those gifts that bring so much joy. Christmas is the moment when God revealed Himself to the world in human form. Jesus was revealed many centuries ago, but He will also reveal Himself tonight, as we gather to worship and celebrate our Savior and our Salvation.
