The unluckily numbered Avenue Red Podcast is a heads-down session of modernist Tech House & Techno from Grimsby-based Connor Hall AKA Conrad. Having started DJ'ing 3 years ago, Connor has become heavily engrossed in his musical passion and alongside his vinyl-junkie-ism he has made strides in the world of producing music too, having put out a debut release on Bosnia & Herzegovina-based @gentlemen-lounge-records, and he has another due out soon on Kadinsky Records too. He plays at various gigs around his hometown alongside Carl Hardy and has played at numerous spots around Sheffield and is steadily working up his profile as a DJ.
He sent us this mix over and we instantly took a shine to his steady workflow through sequences of groove-laden trippy music that strongly leans towards the Fear Of Flying label sound - to us, this can only be a very good thing! Check out this heady mix from a name to watch out for!
