Avenue Red welcomes the second coming of Ísar Logi Arnarsson AKA COLD from Reykjavík, Iceland. As with his first mix, this one is another patchwork quilt of techno-centric (yet rather eclectic) music that is predominantly manufactured by his Icelandic peers, some of whom have featured as guests on Avenue Red themselves. Ísar has featured two of his own productions here, both on iconic underground Icelandic labels: his 2018 track Zebra on Möller Records, and secondly his Strobe Light Network track that was on the first release of Thor's Thule Records.
This mix is a work of pure wizardry. It really shines a light on the diversity, beauty and vibrancy of the music scene of this intriguing country of only 1/3 of a million people. Avenue Red is very pleased to maintain strong ties with the very talented and clued up Icelandic music heads!
