We welcome the return of Moscow-based Russian DJ & artist Kammerton (real name Stepan Chernov), whose debut Avenue Red Podcast 030 was released 2,543 days ago on New Year's Eve of 2014. He is well-known in the underground circuit across the most populous regions of Russia and has played at many great clubs over there, especially those focussed on deeper house, techno and minimal stylings. He was resident of Moscow clubs Shanti and Propaganda, as well as radio stations Deepmix, MixCult and RTS.FM.
As an artist, he is also known as Estafet, Moogam and Hand Rolling. His latest works show an increasing embrace of the darkness, with his latest works - the A4 EP on Moscow label Compromat - being described by the man himself as "Meditative acid surrounded by dark industrial atmospheres. Monotonous bass line drowning in its own reflections. Music on the verge of sound design... It will appeal to fans of the post-apocalyptic Blade Runner mood". This new mix contains hints of these aesthetics and sentiments, but is a much more active, pulsating, truly heads-down affair delivered with a serious tone and narrow-eyed gaze.
