Russian artist & DJ Kammerton AKA Stepan Chernov is back on the Avenue Red Podcast for his third release... this time, as a part deux for his second main podcast episode (192), he presents an acid encounter from a live event under his Estafet alias. Recorded somewhere in a shadowy basement in Moscow, this is an educational 3-hour dancefloor trip and tour de force of the true power of 303-tinged house and techno music, selected and performed live by a master craftsman.
"This recording was made at a closed Sunday afternoon event from the promo group Compromat. The party was dedicated to the acid and rave sound. It was a basement in the centre of Moscow and there were many problems with the organisation. For example, due to the fact that there was poor ventilation and there was a lot of moisture among the people, in fact, water dripped from the ceiling and walls, at some point some of the equipment burned out, but the positive impressions eventually outweighed all the shortcomings. Anyway, this is the music that emerged from that occasion. I think the power of the music strongly overcomes everything incidental and this product shows that music is the answer."
