Overview - The Atonement. Matthew chapter 17:5-8. The Lord showed me while I was in prayer the week of this message, that there was a powerful parallel in the interaction between God, the disciples, and Jesus Christ, on the mount of transfiguration, and the atonement of Jesus Christ for mankind. So I first explain how I saw this parallel.
Next, I then felt the Lord wanted me to give a sermon solely on the details of the atonement of Jesus Christ, so that people could understand it.
So, that’s what I did.
