Overview- It Happened Just As Christ Said. Matthew 26:31-35 & 69-75.
In our message today we read about Jesus telling Peter and the disciples that they were going to forsake Him and be scattered from Him, and we read of these things coming to pass.
Jesus tells His disciples that they were going to forsake Him, but He was just quoting them the prophesy of Zachariah 13:7, where God foretold the event of the Messiah’s disciples rejecting Him, about 587 years before Jesus Christ was born.
So even though the disciples and especially Peter, knew that Jesus was God in the flesh, did they accept what Christ told them?
