Overview- Peter’s Silly Attempt To Rescue Jesus. Matthew chapter 26:47-56.
In our sermon today we looked at the next major event following Jesus Christ’s famous prayer in the garden with His disciples, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”
What is this next major event?
Judas comes bringing a multitude of Roman soldiers to arrest Christ, and kisses Him with a kiss of betrayal.
Today we look at the events surrounding this kiss of betrayal, including Peter’s silly attempt to rescue Jesus.
