Overview- The Terrible End Of Judas The Betrayer. Matt 27:1-10.
In our sermon today we start out finding out what happens to Jesus after the bogus trial that the religious leaders hold for Him in the court of the high priest.
But right after Matthew tells us what happens to Jesus after the trial, he switches to the account of the terrible end of Judas the betrayer.
We find out that Judas becomes remorseful, and that he even gives back the money, all because he realizes that he betrayed the innocent man Jesus Christ.
But does Judas repent of what he did to Jesus and die a saved man?
So did Judas come into a right relationship with God before he died, or not.
Or did Judas not really repent of his betrayal of Christ, and end up going to Hell for what he did to Christ?
Many people are torn on this big question, so I put a tremendous emphasis on answering it in today’s sermon and we read about what scripture says concerning Judas and what happens to him.
