Overview: False Teaching And Fables Had Crept In. 1 Timothy 1:1-7.
First off, in my sermon today I give a short overview of the Book of 1 Timothy, along with who Paul and who Timothy were.
Secondly I teach about how Paul makes Timothy the church’s Pastor because he was going away into Macedonia to preach, and the church had some problems and needed someone there to personally set it right.
As the title of the sermon implies and the first 7 verses speak on, false teaching and fables had crept into this church, so that is what I mainly talk about today.
I even take a look at the Christian church of today and we examine how these same things have crept into it as well.
