Salmos 135
135 ¡Aleluya![a]. ¡Alaben el nombre del SEÑOR!
Alábenle, oh siervos del SEÑOR,
2 ustedes que están en la casa del SEÑOR, en los atrios de la casa de nuestro Dios.
3 Alaben al SEÑOR[b] porque el SEÑOR es bueno;
canten salmos a su nombre porque
es agradable.
4 Porque el SEÑOR[c] ha escogido a Jacob para sí,
a Israel como su especial tesoro.
5 Porque yo sé que grande es el SEÑOR; nuestro Señor es más que todos los dioses.
6 El SEÑOR ha hecho todo lo que
ha querido
en los cielos y en la tierra,
en los mares y en todos los océanos.
7 Él hace subir la neblina desde los extremos de la tierra.
Hace los relámpagos para la lluvia
y saca el viento de sus depósitos.
8 Él es quien hirió a los primogénitos
de Egipto[d],
tanto del hombre como del animal.
9 Él envió señales y prodigios en medio de ti, oh Egipto;
sobre el faraón y sobre todos sus servidores.
10 Él derrotó a muchas naciones
y dio muerte a reyes poderosos:
11 a Sejón[e], rey de los amorreos,
a Og, rey de Basán,
y a todos los reinos de Canaán.
12 Él dio la tierra de ellos en heredad,
en heredad a Israel su pueblo.
13 Oh SEÑOR, eterno es tu nombre;
tu memoria, oh SEÑOR, de generación en generación.
14 Ciertamente el SEÑOR juzgará
a su pueblo
y tendrá misericordia de sus siervos.
15 Los ídolos de las naciones son de plata y oro,
obra de manos de hombres.
16 Tienen boca pero no hablan; tienen ojos pero no ven;
17 tienen orejas pero no oyen;
tampoco hay aliento en su boca.
18 Como ellos, son los que los hacen
y todos los que en ellos confían.
19 ¡Oh casa de Israel, bendigan al SEÑOR! ¡Oh casa de Aarón, bendigan al SEÑOR!
20 ¡Oh casa de Leví, bendigan al SEÑOR! ¡Los que temen al SEÑOR, bendigan al SEÑOR!
21 ¡Bendito sea el SEÑOR desde Sion! ¡Él mora en Jerusalén! ¡Aleluya!

135 Praise the Lord!
Praise the name of the Lord;
Praise Him, O you servants of the Lord!
2 You who stand in the house of the Lord,
In the courts of the house of our God,
3 Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good;
Sing praises to His name, for it is pleasant.
4 For the Lord has chosen Jacob for Himself,
Israel for His [a]special treasure.
5 For I know that the Lord is great,
And our Lord is above all gods.
6 Whatever the Lord pleases He does,
In heaven and in earth,
In the seas and in all deep places.
7 He causes the [b]vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth;
He makes lightning for the rain;
He brings the wind out of His treasuries.
8 He [c]destroyed the firstborn of Egypt,
[d]Both of man and beast.
9 He sent signs and wonders into the midst of you, O Egypt,
Upon Pharaoh and all his servants.
10 He defeated many nations
And slew mighty kings—
11 Sihon king of the Amorites,
Og king of Bashan,
And all the kingdoms of Canaan—
12 And gave their land as a [e]heritage,
A heritage to Israel His people.
13 Your name, O Lord, endures forever,
Your fame, O Lord, throughout all generations.
14 For the Lord will judge His people,
And He will have compassion on His servants.
15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold,
The work of men’s hands.
16 They have mouths, but they do not speak;
Eyes they have, but they do not see;
17 They have ears, but they do not hear;
Nor is there any breath in their mouths.
18 Those who make them are like them;
So is everyone who trusts in them.
19 Bless the Lord, O house of Israel!
Bless the Lord, O house of Aaron!
20 Bless the Lord, O house of Levi!
You who fear the Lord, bless the Lord!
21 Blessed be the Lord out of Zion,
Who dwells in Jerusalem!
