For our Martin Luther King Jr. special we hear the words of Dr. King and we discuss with a panel including
youth activists how King’s legacy and message has been sanitized and how they are working to reclaim his legacy as they build the new movements of today. Our guests are Lola Fageamila an artist and poet with #BlackLivesMatterLA; Tory Russell of Ferguson/St Louis based “Hands Up United” and Kokayi Jitahadi who has had success organizing for resources for youth.
