We discuss police killings and this time of history. Can there be a true democracy in the United States without the country coming to terms with its racist and genocidal past? The growing multiracial youth movement - is this a flash in the pan or an indication of something more long term?
We also look at the international response to the police killing of George Floyd. Protests around the world are taking place. Are they only about George Floyd? Any indications that other countries are now being forced to face their own racism? Also, the inter-relationship between racism and imperialism and the militarization of the United States against its own population. Lastly, we discuss the split in the military, including those who are opposed to what Donald Trump is doing.
