Today is the International Day of Forests, which has been commemorated annually by the United Nations since 2012. For our weekly Earth Watch, we speak with Brenda Jo McManama, who has been involved with Indigenous and environmental issues for the past 20 years. For the past 14 years, she has worked with the Indigenous Environmental Network in different capacities.

We're also going to get an update on Venezuela from Paul Dobson, a journalist with Venezuela Analysis. He is on the ground in Venezuela.
