Today on Sojourner Truth, our weekly roundtable:

The government of New Zealand's reaction to the white nationalist terror attack that left 50 dead, 29 still hospitalized, 8 of whom are in critical condition. This, in the context of the rise of white nationalism internationally and Donald Trump's reaction to it.

Also, Trump in violation of international law and decades of U.S. policy announced via Twitter that the United States will recognize the Golan Heights as Israeli territory. The Golan Heights was taken from Syria and annexed by Israel, but the United Nations declared it illegal. What are the wider implications? This, as Congress moves to condemn the Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) movement in the U.S., which is a peaceful protest against Israeli policies. And as freshman Democratic women shake things up in Congress, Democrats are split on whether criticism of Israeli policies against Palestinians should be categorized as anti-semitic.

And on Friday, March 22, Trump met with Caribbean nations leaning to support the U.S.-backed attempted coup in Venezuela. Trump is hoping to divide and rule, as the majority of Caribbean nations have stood against Trump's push in Venezuela. Meanwhile, the Trump administration is stepping up its efforts to economically and otherwise squeeze Venezuela.

Our panelists are Jackie Goldberg, Laura Carlsen and Dr. Gerald Horne.
