Tuesday: In response to the Zimmerman verdict A March for Dignity is taking place now in Florida, participants are marching Jacksonville to Sanford. What are their demands and what is their reaction to President Obama’s speech on the verdict? Our guest is Emory Wright, co-director of Project South.

Also, the House Judiciary Committee held a hearing last week to assess the impact of the Supreme Court’s decision that gutted a key element of the Voting Rights Act. The Act is a centerpiece of the civil rights movement. Our guest is law professor Spencer Overton who testified at the hearing.

Amnesty International has called on the US to stop punishing California Prisoner Hunger Strikers. We get an update on the strike, the largest in California history. Meanwhile, California Governor Jerry Brown is under criticism for ignoring the thousands of prisoners on hunger strike across California and instead taking a trip to Germany where he will visit Dachau one of the first concentration camps to open in Germany. Our guest is German based Annette Schiffmann.
