Paul's starting point were the words from the Apostle Paul - "Of all sinners, I am the worst". From that point he went on to explore the characters in the bible that we often think of as giants of faith, but who also had serious flaws. Paul aligned his own spiritual journey with theirs to bring us to the point of remembering that we are all sinners, we all miss the mark but that is what the grace of God is for.
