Description

When examining the conversations Jesus had, we are often surprised at what is not said. Martyn digs into Mark 10 to discover two occasions when Jesus asks the same question "What do you want me to do for you?" With very different responses. The Disciples and Bartimaeus respond from very different perspectives. Martyn suggests that in our relationship with Christ, in the sharing of communion, we come with the humility of Bartimaeus rather than the arrogance of James & John.
