Jesus sets his face towards Jerusalem. Spiritual journey. Accomplishing Jesus’ exodus - journey towards liberation, to establish a new people of God. Jesus knew the road ahead would be difficult. Part of Jesus teaching reminds us that doesn’t matter if we understand the bigger picture, more that we understand how to respond personally in our lives. Jesus’ interaction with the lepers shows Jesus’ call for us to act in faith, to realise we are cleansed before we are.
