Are you challenged by prayer? Plenty of time Jesus says to his disciples and to us that we should simply ask in faith and expect a response... Yet our experience may be one of unanswered prayer which, in turn, leads to us praying less often and, maybe, challenges our faith...
My challenge to you is to consider prayer as a whole life of communicating with your creator God; think of adding strands to a rope which binds you together, rather than prayer as a telephone cord which relays a message.
Suspend your disbelief and imagine that he wants a relationship with you and your prayer-life might come back. Think not only about what you want from him, but what he wants from you so that your life, your praise, your spoken prayers and your thoughts can become moulded to his pattern.
