The world has changed (inevitably) in the last generation, especially with regard to moral compass. People have, in the words of the bible become "lovers of self, not loves of God". David encourages us to consider how to be Christ-like in our lives. He suggested we keep walking in the direction God has planned for us by being Humble, Gentle, Patient, bearing with one another in love. To not spend out time trying to find loop-holes in God's way. To honour the commands of God and to walk in the footsteps of Jesus.
