October 18, 2010 - Based on the ongoing conversation of coming out and bullying, out actor Chad Allen wrote the following open letter to Zach Harrington and all of the other struggling-to-come-to-terms-with-themselves teens. After reading the letter, I reached out to Chad so we could continue this very important conversation. We need to be more kind to each other. We need to instill this in our children. And we need to come together as a society to realize that there is no shame in being gay and that death is not the answer to the struggle.
