Directed by Tommy Wirkola, H&G:WH stars Jeremy Renner, Gemma Arterton, and Famke Janssen--and a troll named Edward. This fantasy horror wasn't for everyone, and didn't make a lot of money domestically. Yet across the world, this film racked up the dough.
We ended up divided on this film, with one of us finding it to be a schlocky, yet fun-filled romp... while the other found it just schlocky. It's definitely not for everybody, but H&G:WH has etched out a cult status for itself somewhere out there.
