Spider-Man Into the Spider Verse







Into the Spider Verse features as our movie commentary this episode. Therefor, Brandi returns to the Dark Corner Podcast. That is, she joins Dave to talk over one of her favorite movies. For instance, we talk about animation and comic book history. Meanwhile, we look at the various representations of Spider-man.







We start with a little banter. For instance, Brandi prepare some home made chili. Also, we tell you when to sync your copy of Into the Spider Verse with our commentary. We praise the animation style. That is, we compare it to pop art and comic book illustrations. Dave notes the different designs in the characters. For instance, he mentions how the art of Bill Sienkiewicz inspired Kingpin.







Furthermore, we discuss the soundtrack and score. For instance, Brandi notes how The Prowler has a particular theme. Meanwhile, Dave points out the use of needle drops in establishing mood.
