News







First, Brandi tells the story of how she dislocated her knee. We follow up with talking about a compression wrap, a knee brace, and a cane. Also, Brandi promises another episode of Head Canon.







Reviews







Dave goes down that rabbit hole in discussing moral philosophy and the series finale of The Good Place. Also, Brandi cries through most of the finale of Arrow. Additionally, we review the first two episodes of Picard. Finally, we talk about settlements in Fallout 4.

Pankration







Mainly, we talk about what is perhaps the oldest, complete martial art in the world. First, what is a complete martial art? This 4,000 year old style of unarmed combat contains all fighting applications. Pankration means all powers. That is, it offers striking techniques as in boxing. It features kicks such as the forward thrusting heel kick to the belly. Also, it features holds and throws similar to judo and Greco-Roman wrestling. Additionally, choking presents another mode of attack.







Beyond just the techniques, Dave explores training methods and strategy. He talks about the culture, art and history surrounding this ancient martial art. Moreover, he explains its similarities to modern mixed martial arts. Also, he suggests viewing material. for example, he mentions an episode of Human Weapon and video of Wolf Hawkfield from Virtua Fighter.
