On November 8th, 2012 ambient master Pete Namlook died of unknown causes. This week on the show we take a look back and play some of our favourite Namlook songs. We start off slow and gentle with some delicate flute work from a collaboration between Laswell and Namlook off of Outland IV. Then we move in to a couple selections of Namlook's gentle vocal work with Ancient Beauty and Travelling Without Moving (an album title that pretty much sums up Namlook's ambient opus). We finish the show off with an absolute personal fav: the wonderfully restrained beats of Dark Side of The Moog IX.
