- Pat - in 1973, I was away from the church 10 years. I had broken every commandment. I thought I was going to hell. I had a profound encounter with Jesus in after being invited to a baptism. Stopped drinking, stopped sexual activities. I had an abortion. Attended project Rachel. I thank Jesus for what he did for me. I'm active in Rachel's Vineyard.
