Psalm 1
1. The Way of the Righteous (vss 1-3)
-The blessing of the way of the righteous is God himself
-Blessing is not a list of things to do, but rather a
summons of what to love
-There is simply no substitute for encountering God to
increase our delight in Him.
2. The way of the wicked (vss 4-5)
-The wicked, instead of delighting in God, delight in self.
-Delighting in themselves, they turned their backs on God.
3. Two final destinations (vs 6)
-The righteous are blessed and the wicked perish.
