Amber and Ed are rejoined by Lakota Sioux comedian Jana Schmieding to talk more from the Indigenous peoples perspective. In PT 2 we discuss the different tools of colonization that tribes endure: food deserts, no sovereignty for the reservations, and lack of native representation in media. Persevering through the systematic oppression there is still a brighter side, the indigenous people thrive; tribal languages are reincarnated and they rebuild their traditions.
Taking us out this week is Marty Stuart - So You Want To Be An Indian
