This message seeks to explain why a Christian's primary identity is in Christ and why excessive current theories of identity complicate the whole identity terrain. The net result of all this is that certain groups weaponise identity to make claims on society that create suspicion and perplexity, even discrimination. The call to "press on" in a secular world is as important now as it was when Paul wrote to the Colossians. Hiding our identity in Christ should no longer be an option. Stand Up! Speak Up! Pray up!
