Description

I’m back to bring you another couple of hours of funky good times. The first hour is me and my usual trip through the genres and tempos. In this episode we’ve got a few classics, a few edits, a bit of weirdness and some Sister Sledge. On the whole though, keeping things on a relatively chilled note this time around...

I’m very excited about hour 2, as I bring you an extra special Guest Mix from one half of the excellent Dirty Old Vinyl! Fraser spent a good while expertly crafting this sublime hour of laid back, funky, chugging disco vibes especially for the show, and I think you’ll agree that the end result is wonderful. So grab a drink, sit back, relax and lose yourself.

Huge thanks to Dirty Old Vinyl for the mix, make sure you visit https://soundcloud.com/dk3mac for more loveliness just like this.

Until next time, spread love and festive cheer across the world!

A BIT ABOUT DIRTY OLD VINYL...

Dirty Old Vinyl - aka F&J - are two lads from Scotland who just love their music and it shines through in all of the sets they put out. Each one takes you on a musical journey through a landscape of dreamy, laid-back disco vibes and seriously funky grooves.

They’ve been very much in and around the dance music scene for over 30 years, amassing an almost encyclopaedic knowledge of musical genres across house, funk and disco.

It’s their love of all things disco that led to them forming the Dirty Old Vinyl partnership in 2017 which is strongly influenced by the disco edits, re-edits and nu-disco vibe of the last decade.

Although they say they don’t take themselves seriously, they are serious about their music and over the last 24 months their own involvement and influence on the global disco scene has seen them land prestigious guest mix spots for the likes of Disco Daze, Puzzle Projects, Wonky Disco, Spin City, House Theory Radio Show and Argentina’s ‘Madelsauce’ podcast to name but a few.

Dirty Old Vinyl are very proud to part of recently launched 'Black Light Disco' with fellow founder & groover, Ste 'Esteban' Hendry.
