Funkier Radio is going weekly for a little while! I'm off work, so why not? I bring you my usual mixed bag of funky delights in the first hour, ranging from the soulful to the bumping.
Then in the second hour I'm pleased to bring you a wonderful guest mix from Ca Ty. Caty's from Mexico, currently living in Barcelona and before lockdown ran a night called Pink Ear Sessions. And as you'll find out when you listen to this mix, she's got a keen ear for a funky tune! This guest mix is great, with an expert selection of tunes on the mellower side of things. By the way - apologies that my voice is sounding a bit echoey - I was trying out a new setup and haven't quite nailed it yet. But hopefully the reward is better sound quality for the actual music, which is obviously what matters!
