I’m back to take you on a little journey through beautiful funky lands. I battle through a few tech problems thanks to a computer meltdown earlier in the week to bring you disco, boogie, hip hop, soul, acid, jack and some housey edits. Apologies it's a bit rough around the edges this time - technology eh?
In the second hour I hand over as usual to a special guest, and this episode I’m pleased to bring you an hour of quality funky music from Pete Ellison. Pete tells me he had loads of fun recording this and was bouncing around in his living room, and that shines through in this mix. The quality of guest mixes recently has been phenomenal and this one is no exception, and I’m happy to welcome Pete to the Funkier Radio Family.
Pete hosts a great show called Feel Good Fridays - it’s a bit like mine and I’m a big fan. Pete’s expert selections are perfect to get you in that Friday mood, and most weeks he has a guest mix too.
