The usual mix of new, old, and old-made-new for this episode - oldies from the likes of The Commodores and Stanley Clarke, new stuff from Charly Angelz and Piotre Kiwignon, and old made new shizzle from Igor Gonya, JMMSTR, DJ Laurel and a couple of bits from myself. Was able to start this one a bit early so there’s a whole 70 minutes from me before I hand over to this fortnight’s guest.
The guest mix this time is a real treat - it’s my pleasure to welcome DJ, producer, promoter and all round good guy Chris Clark AKA DJ Clarkson. Chris is one half of DiscNoTheque with his partner in life and music Sarah Violet, and they put on regular nights of the same name around London and South East England, welcoming up and coming DJs alongside some of the biggest and best names on the scene. Their focus is on positive, uplifting, funky disco and house music, and Chris brings us an hour of wonderfully funky grooves. Get stuck in to this mix - it’s a beauty!
