The first hour of episode 85 was an eclectic affair and heavy on the promos, with new bits from Funk Hunk, Sam Redmore, Folkness and others, along with something brand new and a little bit different from me. We covered the bases of nu disco, classic disco, funk, global beats, deep house and more on this little magical mystery tour.
In the second hour I was filled with joy to hand over to my disco brother Guney Capo, AKA Dr Disco. Guney hails from Gutersloh, Germany and is a talented DJ, producer, label boss and promoter and all round very busy man. He’s starting a brand new night in the area on the 29th July in association with We Funk You Bookings and Deck-O-Dance agency, and I urge you to check it out if you’re in Germany.
