My hour was one of those unpredictable affairs when I’d just bought a load of music and was playing exclusively from that - a bucket of assorted tracks that were new to me, although not necessarily new new. Big basslines gave way to cosmic chug, and it mostly hung together surprisingly well!
Hour 2 was a really fun new mix from Flick C, who recently did a mix for my Funkier Sessions series and has now returned for a radio slot. Big, big tunes in this one - from Jamiroquai to Sophie Ellis-Bextor, pumped up versions of Curtis Mayfield and Michael McDonald and a whole lot more, you’re in for a high energy hour!
