After last episode’s 6th birthday special, I was back with more funkier fun for episode 160! I had a slightly shorter bit of the show due to a longer guest mix, but I still crammed in all sorts - disco, nu-disco, boogie, hip hop, funk and of course a bit of weirdness.
The guest mix this time was a real treat - 70 minutes of beats, breaks, funk & soul and hip hop from DJ Russkins. Russell is a fan of the show, and when he sent me this mix I knew it would fit the bill perfectly - it’s a fast moving and fun trip through genres and eras, with loads of fun mashups and recognisable hooks. Been a while since I’ve had a guest mix quite like this, but i love it!
