In his current exhibition SPLITTER at Gestalten Space, the young Berlin-based artist Clemens Behr creates site-specific works that are delightfully disorienting with their complex layers and improvised compositions. By laying with both construction and destruction, Behr raises questions about ephemerality and permanency, and in the same way, his installations facilitate a dialog between our perceptions in the second and third dimensions. In this Gestalten.tv interview, the artist reflects on his visions in spatial design, his own visual vocabulary, and his free-spirited, performance-like design process. Don't miss SPLITTER at Gestalten Space, until August 4th.
