This is the debut full length from Brooklyn synth-pop band Future of What (not to be confused with the album by post-hardcore legends Unwound.) These folks have an easy-going pop aesthetic that I enjoy, and clearly know their way around a studio, but I admit that I’m not that impressed with most of the songs on this record.
