This is the fifth solo outing from Animal Collective affiliate Panda Bear, aka Noah Lennox. For the most part, Panda Bear’s experimental pop takes a more dance-oriented approach this time around, which makes sense as a follow up to his recent, high-profile collaboration with Daft Punk. In more ways than one, this record is a good companion to Animal Collective’s Merriweather Post Pavillion.
