This is a concert album by Phosphorescent pulls some some energy out of Matthew Houck and his band that varies quite a bit from the studio versions. This record reminds me of classic live vinyls (or CDs) I used to find among my grandparents collection. That’s how I was introduced to Dylan and Cash, and I think it would be a perfect way to become acquainted with the music of Phosphorescent as well.
