This is the 3rd LP by Southern California hardcore/metalcore quartet Retox. This is project that span off of Head Wound City, which was a side project itself, of the wonderfully bizarre grindcore outfit The Locust, but the only member the projects now have in common is bassist and vocalist Justin Pearson. Compared to those acts, Retox play a more straightforward brand of metalcore, but that doesn’t mean their records don’t boast their fill of disorienting twists and dives.
