This is the 3rd LP by former post-hardcore act Title Fight. On this record, Title Fight follow a growing trend in the world of underground punk and metal- They go all shoegazey. You’re not likely to find a bigger shoegaze fan than me, but I’m not entirely sold on this band’s move. The songs here are highly melodic and potentially cathartic, but they seem like they could use the burst of energy and defiance that the band’s previous LPs boasted. In my opinion this split in genre doesn't bring the best part of each style along for the ride.
