Since he's known for his work in the background on Arcade Fire, and bears that frontman's last name, Will Butler's debut solo record is released under a pretty big shadow. Still, even though I'd like to see the lyrics waxed up a little bit the next time around, this is a pretty good start for the relatively young singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist.
