New Jackson has come to shake our disco soul to its very foundations. The Dublin based producer has been picking up plaudits with his off kilter production; funky nuggets straddling a techno/ disco divide, where the groove is just that little bit out of focus, the melodies stumbling from the sweet to the queasy. Releases on the likes of Hivern, Major Problems and Permanant Vacation, alongside a well received remix for The xx have cemented his reputation, so when we were offerd an exclusive mixtape we jumped at the chance.
