Paul Azizeh Presents TL Sessions: Episode 48 Feat. DJ WhistleR
This Is Paul Azizeh and welcome to an exciting new episode of TL Sessions. We’re closing out the year with a very special guest DJ coming to TL Sessions, he’s one of the most respectful Trance DJ’s in Seattle WA and his name is DJ WhistleR. It was the late 1990's, names like Tiesto & Armin Van Buuren were rising young stars in the electronic dance world.
Victor Cape also known as DJ WhistleR was swept off his feet by the trance sound so much that by year 2000, he was inspired to buy 2 Technics turntables and a Numark mixer to begin teaching himself how to mix. One short year later in 2001, Whistler started Lovetribe Productions in Seattle and crafted annual events: Lucky Charms, Divalicious, Organik along with one-offs called Loveshack & Keeping Seattle Tidy. Along the way, he worked religiously to rock the dance floor no matter the event big or small earning much love & respect in the Seattle electronic scene where he eventually caught the attention of USC and earned an opening slot for Seattle's biggest annual Halloween Massive...Freaknight 7.
Since then, Whistler have played at numerous raves and clubs in Vancouver, Canada; Portland, OR.; Sacramento, CA.; San Francisco, CA.; Los Angeles, CA.; and Las Vegas, NV. For Techno-Logik, Whistler is laying down a deep tech vocal trance set that touches various elements of the sound he is known for.
