May 28th, 2018 will be one of our national holidays that we set aside in America to celebrate. Memorial Day has been recognized in some form ever since the Civil War to remember and honor those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the giving of their life for our freedom. Each life story becomes a testimony of bravery, sacrifice, and love for something greater than their individual lives. Today it is right and holy to remember every life and honor the stories of these brave men and women.
In God's Word it consistently encourages us to remember the stories that God is building in every believer's life. These stories or testimonies reveal the history of God's promises, power, and divine possibilities for a follower of Christ. Each story remembered empowers someone else to believe what is possible in his and her life.
Today as we celebrate God's goodness I want to share the importance of three things. What does it mean to you and me as we declare a testimony, keep a testimony, and remember a testimony. The collection of God's testimonies in every life declares a valuable story to be remembered, honored, and celebrated! - Doug Watson
